Renowned guide Pat Prentice is the most experienced resident fishing guide at Priest Lake, and has consistently provided his clients the thrill of hooking large Mackinaw.
Charter a fishing trip with Priest Lake Charters and you will enjoy the comforts and equipment aboard a custom rigged Duckworth boat. The boat is configured for fishing enjoyment during any weather condition and is Coast Guard licensed with a full array of safety equipment on board. The fishing equipment is also state-of-the-art to include Cannon Digi-troll electric downriggers and a Genetron video fish finder. All tackle is also provided. Priest Lake Charters is licensed by the Idaho Outfitters and Guides Licensing Board and is fully insured and bonded.Four, six and eight hours fishing trips are offered. Trips are limited to a maximum of six persons, and all trips are single party. Kids under 10 years of age are free with adults that are fishing. Most fishing is deep water trolling, but jigging is also used during certain times of the year and under certain weather conditions.
At your option, a portion of your charter with Priest Lake Charters can include a tour of 19-mile long Priest Lake and its seven islands, a trip through the 2.7-mile waterway that connects Priest Lake with Upper Priest Lake, and a tour of the smaller Upper Priest Lake (3-miles long). The upper lake is surrounded by the federally designated Upper Priest Scenic Area and will forever remain in its natural, pristine state. This scenic area is a wild, yet serene expanse where wildlife such as deer, bear, elk, moose and beaver are frequently observed.
