  • Demonstrative Evidence

This program covers the use of demonstrative evidence in effective courtroom presentations. It has been presented and approved for CLE training for attorneys. It is an overview presentation of the forty-hour workshop.

Eyewitness descriptions are often the starting point in investigating a crime. The understanding of the perceptions of the witness, the perceptions of the public, and the role forensic art plays in this critical area are covered in this program. Participants have hands-on instruction in developing facial awareness.

This program presents the basics of memory and deception in the interview situation. Covered in the deception process are: the three ways people reveal deception, solid tips for establishing "non-deceptive" behavior, and body language. Memory covers: the three types of memory, memory structure, memory storage, recall Vs recognition, and increasing victim/witness memory in the cognitive interview process.

Practical creativity can be taught and learned by anyone concerned with better thinking. Creative thinking is a systematic approach to the fundamental working environment, which utilize information and experience to problem solving. Generating new ideas is now a critical function. Program covers: Learn how to handle idea crunchers and negative people, find powerful techniques for changing perceptions and developing new ideas in community policing, Discover the true meaning of "That's the way its always been done"? "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

This workshop is designed for those who are instructors or presenting workshops and are seeking new ideas and materials. It covers developing the mindset of a top trainer, the secrets of success, creative thinking and professional pointers on visual aids.
